As so many folks do these days, shawn and i met on Tinder! July 23rd 2015 was when I met my partner in crime. We were supposed to meet at the bar Shawn ended up proposing to me at, called Sweetwater Saloon. It was a Saturday in Long Beach, so, naturally I couldn’t find parking. Somehow Shawn did, and after circling in my car for about 25 minutes, I saw him standing outside the bar and yelled across the street these words: “HEY!! Get in!!.” Being very trusting, he did. We hadn’t even talked on the phone yet and now he’s in my passenger seat. Excitied and a little nervous, I drove us to a well known drag bar/restaurant named Hamburger Marys where we laughed, talked, and had a few drinks. The rest is history!
