Things To Do

Sarah and Stephen both grew up spending a lot of time in this part of Maine and are so excited to be celebrating such a big day here. We made a list of a few of our favorite spots below if you have time to check them out during the weekend!

Sportsman’s Kitchen and Keg

46 Sebago Road, Sebago, ME 04029

Our favorite local dinner spot! The Tiki Bar might not be open, but the food is still incredible and you will not be disappointed if you try a pudding shot.

Jordan's Store

8 Sebago Road, Sebago, ME 04029

Stop by for a breakfast sandwich (and maybe a steak), or anything else you might need!

Patch's Variety

965 Chadbourne Road, Standish, ME 04084

You would not believe it from the outside, but they have one of the best lobster rolls in Maine (and a pretty good steak bomb)

Sebago Brewing Company Brewery & Tasting Room

616 Main Street, Gorham, ME 04038

Steve's favorite brewery!

Duckfat

43 Middle Street, Portland, ME 04101

If you make it into Portland during the weekend, Duckfat tops many a best restaurant list for a good reason. They don't take reservations, so go put your name in and then take a stroll along the waterfront!

The Holy Donut

177 Commercial Street, Portland, ME 04101

Maine potato donuts that are definitely worth waking up for - Sarah's favorite is the apple crumb and Steve's is the dark chocolate sea salt. Lots of gluten-free options too :)

Austin Street Brewery

115 Fox Street, Portland, ME 04101

This neighborhood in Portland has over ten breweries within a quarter mile of each other. Steve recommends parking at Austin Street, enjoying the vibes at Après, hoppy IPAs at Belleflower, and delicious cocktails at Maine Craft Distilling!

Sebago Lake State Park

Naples, ME 04055

Plenty of trails (and even a beach if it's a particularly warm day) for walking or biking.

Spring Meadows Golf Club

59 Lewiston Road, Gray, ME 04039

Steve's favorite local golf course!

Douglas Mountain

Sebago, ME 04029

There are a few different trail options to hike Douglas Mountain - most are moderate with a few steep sections.

Hacker's Hill Preserve

174-238 Quaker Ridge Road, Casco, ME 04015

A great spot to see the fall foliage that will hopefully be out by early October!

Fort Williams Park

1000 Shore Road, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107

Home to the Portland Head Light, the oldest lighthouse in Maine and the most photographed lighthouse in the United States! Also (equally important) where we took our engagement photos! Lots of walking paths, gardens, and a path down to dip your toes in the probably very warm water.
