Our favorite local dinner spot! The Tiki Bar might not be open, but the food is still incredible and you will not be disappointed if you try a pudding shot.
Stop by for a breakfast sandwich (and maybe a steak), or anything else you might need!
You would not believe it from the outside, but they have one of the best lobster rolls in Maine (and a pretty good steak bomb)
Steve's favorite brewery!
If you make it into Portland during the weekend, Duckfat tops many a best restaurant list for a good reason. They don't take reservations, so go put your name in and then take a stroll along the waterfront!
Maine potato donuts that are definitely worth waking up for - Sarah's favorite is the apple crumb and Steve's is the dark chocolate sea salt. Lots of gluten-free options too :)
This neighborhood in Portland has over ten breweries within a quarter mile of each other. Steve recommends parking at Austin Street, enjoying the vibes at Après, hoppy IPAs at Belleflower, and delicious cocktails at Maine Craft Distilling!
Plenty of trails (and even a beach if it's a particularly warm day) for walking or biking.
Steve's favorite local golf course!
There are a few different trail options to hike Douglas Mountain - most are moderate with a few steep sections.
A great spot to see the fall foliage that will hopefully be out by early October!
Home to the Portland Head Light, the oldest lighthouse in Maine and the most photographed lighthouse in the United States! Also (equally important) where we took our engagement photos! Lots of walking paths, gardens, and a path down to dip your toes in the probably very warm water.
