Our love story began in 2012. Amanda was a customer at the local hair salon where Shawn was a hairstylist. Shawn saw Amanda getting her hair done at one of the other stylists chairs and thought she was beautiful. He could tell by their conversation she must be charming as well. He spotted Amanda’s mother, Rebecca, and covertly asked her if Amanda was seeing anyone and if he could have her daughters number. Rebecca, being the romantic that she is, gave him her daughters number. A few days later they were on their first date at Coal Vines in Southlake. The conversation lasted well into the night, the restaurant was almost closed before they left. You could say it was love at first conversation! 6 years worth of memories later and we’ve traveled our home state of Texas, moved into a home together, and added a fur baby, Sir Charles, into the mix. In May 2018 Shawn FINALLY popped the question and Amanda said yes! We can’t wait for this next chapter to begin!
