Answer

The RSVP deadline is July 31, 2024. You must RSVP using this platform. If you fail to meet this deadline, you will not be able to attend.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We've been very intentional about our guest list and have prepared to accommodate spouses, fiancés, and long-term partners. We ask that only those named on the invite attend.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both will be held at The Cloth Mill (437 Dimmocks Mill Rd #3, Hillsborough, NC 27278) — a beautiful Black-owned wedding and event venue in the heart of historic Hillsborough, NC.

Question

Have hotel room blocks been reserved?

Answer

To respect everyone's price points, we have provided various hotel options in the surrounding area.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel?

Answer

No, all guests will be responsible for their own transportation.

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm. All guests should arrive by 3:30 pm to be allowed inside before the ceremony begins.

Answer

Yes, parking is located directly in front. ADA accessible parking is in the back of the venue.

Question

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

Do you really even know us? We "don't do outside." The ceremony and reception will be indoors. Cocktail hour will be available indoors and outdoors.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is "All Black" black tie! (i.e. formal - think black tuxedos and black gowns).

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While y'all know, we love kids; this is an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements so that YOU can celebrate with us.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Anything less would be uncivilized.

Question

Gifts?

Answer

There is no better gift than the honor of your presence and prayers for the next 10 years. However, a monetary contribution would gladly be accepted. There will be a card box in the entrance of the venue.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony and post on social media?

Answer

We'll set aside time to take pictures during the ceremony. Then, we'll ask that you put devices away to be present with us. After the ceremony, you are free to post! #StephensSTILLdo
