We're getting Married!

We met in our junior year of high school at Faith Christian Academy. I had transferred there from Salem Christian School that year, but Stephen had been at Faith since 7th grade. Unfortunately, we didn't talk to each other in the beginning because we had different friend groups, but that all changed when our groups merged together at the end of junior year. We spent all summer hanging out with our friends, but people started to notice that we would gravitate towards each other. We accidentally went on our first date when I planned a big movie hangout, and everyone ditched me last minute (everyone except Stephen). I wasn't complaining though, I had a crush on him anyway. Later that summer, Stephen and a few friends came up to my family's lake house. I think God knew that both my naive personality and my lack of decision making would have never gotten me very far in the dating world. Because of that, he stuck Stephen right in front of my face, and when he came back to the lake house for a second time by himself, I finally realized what was going on. After that trip, anywhere he went, I went, and vice versa. He asked me on our official first date soon after, and on August 14, 2021, we officially started dating. We have grown so much in our relationship, and in the Lord, and we continue to grow each day. We have been inseparable since the summer we first met, and now we get to spend the rest of our lives together! God's biggest blessing to us is each other <3
