It was fitting that the Almighty should choose to introduce these souls to one another while they were pursuing their shared love of nature. They connected during Yadira’s first hiking trip to Montana.  On our first date, time flew; coffee turned to a stroll around Beacon Hill in Seattle which turned to a late lunch and more afternoon walks.  Instantly, we felt comfortable around one another and engaged in our shared spirituality, beliefs and desires in a partner. The compatibility was clear. The second date came shortly after. Stephen liked that Yadira was confident, spontaneous, fun loving, adventurous, passionate and daring. Yadira fell in love right away with Stephen’s hair. Jaja besides that She really enjoyed that he was easygoing, thoughtful, attentive and a gentle man. One being from Mexico and the other from the UK, we both were drawn to the USA, choosing to make America our home. It wasn’t long until we were making regular trips between Montana and Chicago to see one another. Stephen asked Yadira to be his girlfriend in the Chicago Botanical Gardens - a place already of special significance to her - a few months after their first meeting. Marriage was always known to be the goal and Stephen proposed to Yadira early in 2026. We now look forward to the next stage in the development of our union, as husband and wife. We are excited for our friends and family to meet and be a part of it.
