FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes—cocktail/formal attire is requested for both the ceremony and reception. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing blue jeans. For outfit inspiration, these guides may be helpful: Ladies it is recommended that one wears floor length dress, midi length dress or slacks (dress pants) with a blouse, and for the men it is recommended that one wears slacks (dress pants) with a button up dress shirt (Oxford Shirt) with a blazer if wanted. Suits are also recommended, but they are not necessary. https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet https://www.vogue.com/article/wedding-dress-codes https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364 **The ceremony is an outside event, so wearing light layers is ideal. The reception is in a covered area with air conditioning.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, we’re only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation. If a plus-one is included, it will be listed on your invite and is reserved for spouses, fiancés, and long-term partners. We kindly ask that no additional guests attend. Thank you so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at the venue. We will also be providing a trolley service that will run between the venue and the Hawthorn Hotel, making transportation easy for guests traveling between the two locations.
