Best Man
Tim is Stephen's brother and best man. They started hanging out in high school and have been best friends ever since. Stephen was Tim's best man at his wedding in 2008, and Stephen always knew that Tim would be his best man, too. They are always laughing and making jokes when hanging out, and enjoy playing video games and cards together. Tim has been there for Stephen in times of need, and during times of joy. When they hang out together after months, it's like they just saw each other yesterday. Tim is a physician's assistant at a Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin. He is married to Meghan, and has three wonderful children. Tim is a fantastic husband, an amazing father, and a phenomenal brother and friend. Stephen couldn't ask for someone better to stand next to when he marries Susanne.
Kathrine Galtung
Maid of Honor
Kathrine is one of Susanne's maids of honor. They have known each other since high school, and have been living together since November 2015. Kathrine is an architect working in Oslo, and was the brains behind the design of our wedding invitations. Kathrine is probably the person who knows us as a couple the best as Stephen has stayed in our apartment numerous times while visiting. The fact that they have become such good friends as well was the icing on the cake of an already wonderful friendship. Her support has been invaluable throughout the challenging times of a long-distance relationship, and we will always be thankful to her!
Sanne Myhrehagen
Maid of Honor
Sanne is one of Susanne's maids of honor. They have known each other since kindergarten, and have been best friends ever since. Needless to say, Sanne is one of Susanne's oldest and closest friends. She studied business, and is currently working for a real estate company in Oslo. Sanne is considered somewhat of a fashion expert by friends, and together with Kathrine they helped Susanne find her wedding dress. Susanne and Sanne have travelled to several countries and music festivals together and always end up with a funny story to tell. She is one of the people who knows her the best, and has always been there to support Susanne, who is so grateful to have her in her life!
Marianne Lund Buset
Toast Master
Marianne is our Toast Master (also known as Master of Ceremonies or M.C.) and will be helping us with the flow of our wedding day, and especially with our wedding reception program. Susanne and her met while studying for their Bachelor's Degree in European Studies in Trondheim, Norway. They both did an exchange semester abroad, and probably bonded the most over how horribly the exchange program was set up at their university. Marianne also visited Susanne while she was living in Vienna. She is one of the most out-going people we know, and is always fun to be around. Marianne will also be getting married to her American fiancé, Nick, this summer, both of whom have been huge supports for us during the visa process and wedding prepaprations! We are excited for more wine nights to come!
