Question

Where is parking? Do we need to pay?

Answer

There are parking spaces in Wooton Park and nearby on-street parking. Across the street from the park there are vehicular lots adjacent to Tavares City Hall and the Lake County Clerk's office. Just down the street is the Lake County Parking Garage which contains 1,555 parking spaces. Parking map is available on the venue website. All spaces in the park and by clerk office are free.

What is the alcohol/smoking policy?

Answer

We will have a full open bar, however no outside alcohol is permitted. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR VAPING ALLOWED IN VENUE (including decks) OR ON PIER. Venue staff will ask you to leave if you are caught & it will be out of our hands. There will be a designated smoking area just off the pier.

Why no phones during the ceremony?

Answer

We would like for all our guest to be present and enjoy the moment with us. This will also help ensure the photographer gets the best possible shots without obstructions. Time will be given at the end of the ceremony for personal photos. Please feel free to take photos during the rest of the festivities.

What activities and entertainment are near the venue?

Answer

The venue is located in the Historical District of Tavares, offering an abundance of lovely views and boutique shops. There are several family restaurants and bars within walking distance and Wootan Park contains a large wooden playground structure and splashpad. The venue is right on Lake Dora which allows for fishing, boating, etc.

How far is the hotel from the venue?

Answer

It is a 3-5 minute walk from the venue.

Will the ceremony be held outside?

Answer

The entire event will be indoors, however the pier will be available to us during the event. Feel free to enjoy the view throughout the evening.
