Things To Do

On the site of the Original Stax Records Studio, this museum is one of the best in town.

Stax Museum of American Soul Music

Right next to the Fed Ex forum, this is a Smithsonian affiliate museum, honoring Memphis Music History.

Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum

Where Stephen started as an Event Coordinator in 2014. This is also where he met two of his groomsmen; Jay and Joe. Stop in to check out the new Hologram.

Blues Hall of Fame Museum

Great place for a run or walk to watch the sunrise over Memphis or sunset on the Mississippi River.

Tom Lee Park

Lots of great restaurants in this area, take your car or an Uber park and walk around. Some of our favorite restaurants are Petals of Peony, Molly's Casita, and The Second Line.

Overton Square

This is where we had our First date! The pizza place inside was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

WISEACRE Brewing Company HQ

Go here for a great view of the Memphis Pyramid. Awesome beer and Stephen’s friend Mark is the head brewer.

Comeback Coffee

Stephen & Sidney’s favorite grab-n-go breakfast spot. You can't go wrong with their bagels or pastries.

Tried and true BBQ spot, this is the downtown location, right next to the National Civil Rights Museum.

Named best taco spot in Tennessee by Yelp. We like to agree.

Maciel's Tortas & Tacos - Downtown

Great local spot to grab a beer and sandwich. Stephen used to be a concert promoter here.

Young Avenue Deli

Best Noods in town and featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Good Fortune Co.

Great lunch or dinner spot, your won't be able to stop eating their appetizer popcorn.

SOB Downtown

Delicious food, we like to split two sandwiches and get a bowl of greens as your side.

The Second Line

The site of Stephen and Sidney's Engagement. We think its the Best Italian restaurant in Memphis. Most of the time a reservation is required. Pro tip: Ask about the Chef's Menu.

BarWare

Groovy bar inside the Central Station Hotel. This is a great place for drinks & live record spinning.

This is a historic late night bar and juke joint. Home of the famous Soul Burger.
