Shannon and Stephen’s story began in March 2021, about a year into COVID, when meeting new people was not exactly easy. Both were ready to find something real, so they decided to give online dating a try and met on Hinge. After chatting for a few days, in true Shannon fashion, she told Stephen that if he did not ask for her number, there would be no date. He got the hint quickly, and within a week they met for dinner at Villaggio Iccara. Even though Shannon was running late and got pulled over on the way there, Stephen waited, and it turned out to be the best and last first date of her life. Their connection was instant, and within three weeks Stephen officially asked Shannon to be his girlfriend. They even found out that they both share the same middle name, Ashley. From cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles during marathon NFL Sundays to conquering roller coasters at Six Flags, they quickly realized they were meant for each other. Since then, they’ve traveled the world, shared countless laughs at comedy shows, binge watched every season of Love is Blind, and made endless memories on weekend trips to Atlantic City, Shannon’s happy place. On October 11, 2024, Stephen proposed at the Hard Rock Hotel in Atlantic City, surrounded by rose petals, balloons, and a “Will You Marry Me?” sign, with Shannon’s sister and daughter secretly helping plan the surprise. Through happy tears, she said yes to forever. Today, Shannon and Stephen are planning their dream wedding and have built a beautiful life together, including buying a home together. Their relationship has always been natural, easy, and filled with laughter. They cannot wait to celebrate the next chapter of their love story with all of you.
