We have decided to both change our last name to Steve's mom's maiden name, Laird, to honor the amazing family! For our Texas friends, this means our monogram will be SLS.
The Catholic Church welcomes you as you are so your cocktail attire will look wonderful in the church. Our wedding will be a service vs. a full mass and we expect it to run 30 minutes. In a wedding service, people in the pews will enjoy the ceremony seated (so no need to bring those knee pads). We ask people to put away their cell phones & not take photos during the ceremony in respect to the place of worship. We promise our photographer will capture all the best moments.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Kids are welcome at the wedding but we ask you to find a sitter for the reception for children younger than 15. Please let us know if you need assistance in finding a baby sitter.
Luckily, the wedding & the reception are 3 blocks from the suggested hotels. We encourage attendees to enjoy the Colorado air & walk to all the events. There are bike rentals, Uber, & Lyft options in the town,
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
The service will begin at St. Joe's at 5 pm. Please show up no later than 4:50 pm so we can start the wedding (& the reception) on time!
Cocktail, please. July in Colorado will be beautiful but potentially a little warm during the day. We want you to feel comfortable & ready to tear up the dance floor so make sure to bring your dancing shoes!
