Steve was visiting our hometown high school in Monroe, Connecticut in 2010 with a mutual friend when we bumped into one another in the halls. He was a young 19 year old attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst while I was a 16 year old junior at Masuk High School. We quickly became good friends, bicycling together on our local bike trails and hiking Connecticut's back woods. We remained good friends until May 17th, 2013 when we officially started dating. We've been inseparable ever since, living in Vermont together while I finished school at Marlboro College, then moving across the country to Los Angeles where we still reside with our three kitties, Olive, Pepper and Fizz.

While on a vacation in Big Bear, California celebrating our 10 year anniversary, Steve decided to pop the big question. We got up early that day, had breakfast and hiked up a beautiful mountain where Steve got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" Of course I said "Yes!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you all! See you in Lytle Creek!
