Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is located at the Timberlake Historic House in Louisburg, NC. The ceremony will take place at the front of the house. The Address is: 25 Wild Rose Lane, Louisburg, NC 27549

Where is cocktail hour/Reception?

Answer

The cocktail hour and reception will also be at the Timberlake Historic house right across the way from the ceremony. The cocktail hour will be on the right side of the house past the big clear tent. The reception will take place inside that tent.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 3:30pm to allow yourself time to mingle, find a good seat, and sign our photo guest book.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Answer

Please RSVP online on this website. Click on the tab "RSVP" and follow the instructions.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Think masquerade without the masks. No costumes please but have fun with it! Short answer: Black tie optional.

Are there any colors you would prefer me not to wear?

Answer

Nah. Everyone will know who the bride and groom are. Plus, Halloween creativity doesn't discriminate colors!

Is the parking available near the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is on-site. There will be parking attendants to assist you.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! There are going to be some exceptions to this. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us. Thank you for understanding.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

Fall favorites and North Carolina BBQ buffet. Still working out the logistics but will post the menu when it's finalized.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options?

Answer

Yes! We are looking into and working closely with our caterer to provide options for everyone.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have three registries. Zola, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Amazon. Please go to the "Registries" page for more information.

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

We do ask that you silence and put your phones away during the ceremony. We will have two wonderful photographers there the whole day to capture the moments. As for the cocktail hour and reception? Have at it!

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

The party will end at 10pm.

What will the weather be like this time of year in NC?

Answer

The average high/low in Raleigh, NC in late October is: 72 Degrees/50 Degrees. Highest Temp (During the day): 80 Degrees/ F Lowest Temp (at night): 35 Degrees/F

What happens after the Ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be nearby finishing set up and/or taking pictures for about an hour. Guests can head straight to the right side of the house, past the tent for snacks and entertainment.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Yes! Our theme is "Gothic Halloween Ball". Please visit the "Dress code" question for more information.

What can I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

No. We are having a dry budget wedding.

What about Covid? Will we need to wear a mask?

Answer

Your safety is our primary concern. We are continuously keeping an eye out for Covid restrictions. As of right now (March 2021), we are working alongside our vendors to make this experience as safe as possible. If you still feel unsafe traveling/attending, we do have a virtual option. If this makes you feel more comfortable, please email Stephen and Rachel at thebutlers38@gmail.com to join our virtual zoom email list. As for the second question, if you are attending the wedding in person, please do wear a mask unless otherwise stated. We will be revisiting these two questions as the wedding comes closer.

Should I wear heals or flats? What is the terrain like?

Answer

Although we will be covered by a tent, the ceremony and reception take place outside. Flats or thick heals are will likely be your friends. Terrain is tightly packed gravel, grass, and a dance floor.
