When should I RSVP by?

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but we have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception as adults-only events. However, kids are welcome at our Saturday Tailgate!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those who have been formally invited. Your invite will be made out to “(Your name) & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Please feel free to reach out to Stephen or Rachel if you have any questions. Thank you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at Harper’s Vineyard no later than 3:30pm for the ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our ceremony and reception is Cocktail Attire (cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, suit jackets, slacks, ties, and dress shoes). If you need some help deciding on what shoes to wear to take you from the ceremony into dancing the night away, Rachel is going to be wearing Pashion Footwear, heels that transform into flats! Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available onsite at the venue for all our guests.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are not currently planning to provide transportation to or from the venue for our big day. Ubers and Lyfts are available in Townsend; however, Townsend is a small town and likely will not have many drivers available. As such, we strongly recommend scheduling these rides in advance to guarantee driver availability and lock in lower prices. Otherwise, please coordinate to carpool safely.

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have secured a hotel block for most of our guests at the Tremont Lodge & Resort with discount code B969884 (expires 9/23). However, this block is first come first serve and availability is not guaranteed, so please reserve your room as soon as possible if you are planning to stay in a hotel for our event. Refer to our “Travel” page for more info. We have also listed several other small hotels/lodges within Townsend that are options beyond our hotel block. However, instead of other hotel options, we actually strongly recommend booking one of the many beautiful Airbnbs in the area surrounding the mountain town, especially if you’re traveling with a group. These are usually better options for the price.

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes, we will have passed hors d’oeuvres and drinks at the cocktail hour immediately after the ceremony, then will have a full dinner buffet to start the reception. Please refer to your invite to RSVP with your preferred food choice so we can get accurate counts to our caterers.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please list any allergy or dietary restrictions in the food-allergy section of the RSVP so we can notify our caterers.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are primarily registered with Crate & Barrel, with some additional items registered on West Elm/Williams Sonoma/Pottery Barn. We also have several items registered through Zola that are linked to their independent websites. Lastly, we have set up a honeymoon fund for anyone who would like to contribute towards specific activities for our honeymoon next year! All of this + more information is on our “Registry” tab.
