Yes, formal attire. This means suits for men, a suit (no tuxedos) and dress shoes. For women, a floor-length or cocktail-length dress. While these are the typical guidelines for "formal attire," we really just want you to wear what you feel your best in. If something more comfortable is your preference, go forth!

The bride and groom, along with their families, will be staying at Grand Cascades Lodge. All of the wedding events will also be taking place at Grand Cascades Lodge, so there is no need for transportation if you are staying here. We have a Room Block where you can book online, or if you prefer, you can of course call the Central Reservations Team for assistance: 866-921-0422. Use the reference name - Albilia-Fickett when you make the reservation! We also have room blocks at Minerals, the sister hotel of GCR and about a 10 minute drive from the venue. They have the same access benefits as Grand Cascades including a pool, game-room, rock climbing wall, and more. There is another nearby hotel available as well. Please note, Ubers and Lyfts are very difficult to get in the area and aren't reliable, so please plan accordingly by either scheduling a pick-up in advance or driving (responsibly) yourself.
Feel free to call the hotel the morning you arrive to see if early check-in is available. They typically will be ready ahead of time, but there isn't a guarantee. What we CAN confirm is that if you arrive by noon, you can enjoy all on-site amenities and the hotel can hold your bags until your room is ready.
Heck yeah! Pack your swimmies, goggles, and flip flops because the after party will be at the biosphere pool at the Grand Cascades Lodge! Locker rooms will be available for guests. We expect each and every one of you to make it down that slide. See you in the hot tub!
