Michele's favourite! The perfect place to stop by for a wine and a bite to eat with plenty of house-made antipasti to choose from, including burrata, prosciutto, ‘nduja and marinated peppers plus a selection of homemade pastas and larger plates. You cannot visit without trying Totti’s signature bread, wood-fired to order. Visit one of their 3 locations: Sydney CBD, Bondi and Rozelle.
Stephen's favourite Korean BBQ in Sydney. Located in Haymarket (near Central Station), Bornga is known for its flavoursome Woo Samgyup - thinly sliced, marinated beef. Bornga is also near Darling Square where you can find nice cafes like Kurtosh and dessert spots like Messina.
Nothing screams family lunch in Sydney more than Yum Cha, and even better in the heart of Sydney’s Chinatown. Yum Cha is the Cantonese tradition of brunch involving Chinese tea and dim sum served via steaming trolley carts. For any first timers, be sure to try the fluffy pork buns, prawn har gow and siu mai dim sum, braised chicken feet and finish with some mango pancakes and custard tarts.
Another one of Michele's favourites. Chin Chin Sydney is a bustling Thai eatery with great food and vibrant restaurant energy. The extensive menu offers a selection of bold South-East Asian dishes and a cracker cocktail list from their in house GoGo bar. Order one of their 'feed me' menus to try the restaurant's most iconic dishes. You won't be disappointed (and definitely won't leave hungry!)
Another one of Stephen's favourites for a casual bite or quick takeaway. Frangos is a unique spot that serves Portuguese Charcoal Chicken, basted in a handmade chilli sauce which is hot, rich and creamy. Order chicken with a side or chips or the chicken ciabatta roll - and the chilli mayo sauce on the side is a must!
Sparkling blue ocean, fun eateries and a laid-back beach lifestyle sums up Sydney’s world-famous Bondi. Go for a swim in an iconic ocean pool, stroll the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, or enjoy sweeping views and a drink or two from the Bondi Icebergs club. Bondi Beach is approximately 30 minutes via public transport from the city centre.
Entertain the kids on the city’s coolest playground, visit the iconic SEA LIFE aquarium, step into the tranquil Chinese Garden of Friendship, bar hop by the water at Cockle Bay Wharf, or visit the vibrant Darling Square only a few minutes' walk away to experience with world-class dining, laneways bars and more.
Experience Australia's Home of Seafood: an authentic working fish market on Sydney Harbour. Sydney Fish Market is the largest market of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, home to a number of fresh seafood retailers, cafes, restaurants and much more.
Bar 83 soars high above the city CBD, 83 floors above street level, in the iconic Sydney Tower. A striking décor, with subtle hints of retro nostalgia and spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows, affords sky-high revellers a 260-degree view of Sydney's glittering cityscape.
Famous for its quirky, bohemian spirit, Newtown in inner Sydney is where you’ll find eclectic vintage shopping, iconic arts and theatre spaces, and a renowned dining and drinking scene. Our personal favourite spots include Bella Brutta for their iconic clam pizza, Odd Culture for a cheeky cocktail or two, or A.P Bakery for some freshly baked bread and pastries.
