Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is March 1st, 2025. If we don’t receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as ‘no’. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Question

Can I Bring A Plus One?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you’ve received a plus one, they’ll be specifically addressed within your wedding invite or on the wedding website. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are Children Welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of immediate family.

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

The short answer: Cocktail/Formal Attire The longer answer: Come get fancy with us! Your snazziest suit and tie, cocktail dress, and/or evening gown is perfect for our wedding. The event is indoors, so feel free to wear heels if you want (or whatever you'll be most comfortable dancing in)! Don't feel like you need to wear a full tux, but please no jeans and t-shirts.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Heinz Chapel between 2:00 and 2:15 to allow ample time for parking and getting seated before Mass begins at 2:30 sharp and door will be locked.

Question

Is there parking at the ceremony location?

Answer

Heinz Chapel has reserved parking on the left hand side of South Bellefield Avenue (a one way street) as well as two designated handicapped parking spaces. A uniformed Pittsburgh Police Officer will be present to supervise. Underground parking is also available below Soilders & Sailors Memorial Hall Museum, 4141 Fifth Avenue and metered street parking along Bellefield Avenue and other streets around the University of Pittsburgh Campus is available.

Question

Can I Take Photos During The Ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Question

Is there parking at the reception venue?

Answer

Pittsburgh's Grand Hall at the Priory provides valet parking on Nash Street (street perpendicular to Pressley Street and the location of the reception venue). Otherwise we recommend Ubering or grabbing a shuttle from your hotel if you are not staying at The Priory.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you, so get ready to celebrate! Please be aware, the venue will verify that guests are over 21, so please bring your photo ID.
