Question

Will food be provided in the venue house?

Answer

Yes, and also no. We will have general snacking materials readily available, and in addition all dinners are covered! Depending on how many days you are staying with us, please plan accordingly for breakfasts and lunches. There are nearby grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants as well!

Will the wedding ceremony be outside?

Answer

We hope so! Unless rain or other weather related issues arise, most of the celebrations will be outside.

Question

What should I pack/bring? Anything specific?

Answer

Semi-formal wedding clothes for the celebrations are needed. In addition, please bring a bathing suit (there is a swimming hole on the property)- we will provide towels! We want to take full advantage of the beautiful outdoors that Woodstock has to offer. Stephen will be bringing all of his fishing gear and we all know he doesn’t like to be lonely! He will also have extra stuff for anyone who wants to participate. If you would like to hike, there are plenty of trails so bring your shoes!

Do I need to book a room in a hotel?

Am I allowed to bring a +1?

Answer

Unfortunately this is a very intimate ceremony. Our guest list needs to remain small in order to avoid extra charges at the VRBO!

Should I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

If you’d like! There will be ample supply of beer, wine, and spirits during the long weekend (thank you Cocktail Cruisers!), but if you want something special, you’ll have to bring it along.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes! There is a welcome event happening on Thursday 8/1, a rehearsal dinner on Friday 8/2, and brunch on Sunday 8/4. We would love to have you for all the celebrations, but we understand with work, travel, and families it can be difficult!
