Art Walk in San José del Cabo
Every Thursday evening from 5-9pm, the historic district of San José del Cabo comes alive with a vibrant art walk. There is live music and open galleries featuring local artists. This is a great area to visit on other days of the week as well! This district has many great bars, restaurants, boutiques, and cafés, all set along charming cobblestone streets and colorful Spanish colonial buildings. We had our tasting at a restaurant in this area, and then we enjoyed walking around all of the shops in the area, dancing in the gazebo in the square, and checking out the historical church!
Boat Tour
Take a boat tour from the Marina in Cabo San Lucas. Visit some of Cabo's iconic landmarks like El Arco and Lover's Beach. Cruise past sea lions and rock formations, best enjoyed during the sunset! We visited in February, when it was whale mating season, and saw many dolphins and whales on a boat tour we took from the Marina.
Take a Hike
For great views near Cabo San Lucas, take a scenic hike at sunrise. There are two great hikes in the area. Cerro de la Z is an easier, but steep, 45-minute hike with great views for sunrise or sunset. Mount Solmar is a 1.5 to 2 hour more challenging hike. It is on private property, and each morning at 8am, except Saturdays, the owner leads a hike up the mountain. Click the button below for details!

Explore Downtown Cabo San Lucas
The Place at Cabo is a newer development near the Marina in downtown Cabo San Lucas. It is a cute area to walk around, and there are many nice restaurants and cocktail bars to choose from! We enjoyed margaritas at El Porfirio Tacos y Mezcal and sat in swinging chairs at the bar.
