Our idea for our wedding was to find a venue that everyone can stay at for the weekend! Rather than only getting to talk to all of our family and friends for a few minutes we wanted to be able to spend plenty of time together. We have booked out the entire property and rooms will be priced from $200-$250/night.
We will be providing dinner on Friday, brunch and dinner on Saturday night, and a light breakfast on Sunday. We will have some snacks out, but feel free to bring any additional snacks you'd like! Suggested packing list : sunscreen, bug spray, jacket/warm layers, bathing suit if you want to swim in the pool, costume for Friday night dinner, clothes you can run around in for Saturday during that day, cocktail attire for Saturday night, flashlights/headlamp, lawn games, water floaties, comfortable shoes (some of the cabins are a bit of a walk), shower shoes (for shared showers), blow dryer, iron/steamer, and toiletries. If you play an instrument feel free to bring it so we can have a jam sesh around the camp fire!
Check-in starts at 3pm on Friday and we would love if you can arrive around that time. The address is 17301 Silver Spur Drive, Tuolumne, CA. When you drive all the way down Silver Spur Drive, you will see mailboxes, located on your right. The main parking lot is to the left of the mailboxes. Please park at the main parking lot and there will be someone there to help with bags and direct you in. There will be a rehearsal dinner and fun games! The theme of the night is "theme party." What's the theme of this party? Whatever you want it to be! Want to dress up as a superhero? Great. In an animal onesie? Love it. In a politically controversial statement outfit that will piss Laura off? Absolutely not, please! We will be eating some dinner, having some drinks, and playing games!
Well, if we throw a good party, you will be struggling on Sunday morning! Check out is at 11am. We will have a light breakfast and coffee in the main lodge to say good-bye to everyone.
There is limited cell service, but they have wifi on the whole property.
We have a photographer and we would prefer for you to sit back and enjoy the ceremony! If you want to discreetly take a sneaky photo that's fine, but try to hide your phone as much as possible.
There are 13 stand alone cabins with 2 queen beds in each and detached shared bathrooms. There is also a lodge with 30+ rooms with shared bathrooms. There are also a limited few rooms with bathrooms attached reserved for people with medical conditions.
We know a lot of people are traveling from far away and might want to spend a few more days exploring the best state! Here are some suggestions: 1.) Yosemite (1.5 hours from Deloro) - If you've never been to Yosemite, you absolutely have to go. I think it's the most beautiful place in the world! 2.) Napa Valley (2.5 hours from Deloro) - If you haven't had enough wine during our wedding weekend then this is the place to go! 3.) Monterey and Carmel-By-The-Sea (3.5 hours from Deloro) - Stunning views of the coast and the famous 17-mile drive. 4.) Big Sur (4 hours from Deloro) - It's one of Taylor Swift's favorite places in the world for a reason! 5.) Lake Tahoe - (3 hours from Deloro) - Go check out the largest alpine lake in North America. 6. ) Sequoia National Park (3.5 hours from Deloro) - Walk amongst the biggest trees in the world!
