Should we plan to arrive early?

Yes, the facilities will be available starting from 12:30 pm, but seating should be well underway by 1:50 pm as the ceremony starts at 2 pm

Can we take photographs or video tape?
Answer
Yes and no: No photos or videotaping are to be taken from the floor of the sanctuary while the marriage service is in progress (including processional and recessional); otherwise, welcome to take photos or video tape up to about 10 minutes before the service and after the recessional as no photographer will be present. Following the ceremony, the married couple may return for pictures on request. Flash and other lighting equipment may be used at that time. Video taping during the ceremony should be done with available light only, provided video equipment is confined to the rear or the balcony of the sanctuary. If it is desired, a stationary and “unmanned” video camera may be positioned in the far corners of the sanctuary at the direction of the Wedding Coordinator. Photos or videos of the wedding party may be taken in the narthex or the aisle of the church just before and during the processional and during the recessional, providing the photographer and/or videographer stays in back of the congregation.

Do I need to RSVP to watch online or to come in person?
Answer
No, but please RSVP just to let us know who we can expect to be present physically. You can find the link for the HD video on the INVITATION tab, but if you click on "ADD TO CALENDAR" the link will be included. The URL for the live streaming event is also included in the FAQ above.

Will Holy Communion be served?
Answer
Yes as part of Holy Matrimony, and all are welcome.

Can we bring alcoholic beverages or will they be provided?
Answer
No, since consumption of alcoholic beverages on KOG premises is prohibited.

We will be moving to the D.C. area so we do not need more things, but thanks.

Will cleaning services be provided?

No., so please pick up after yourself, and leave the Church as you found it, ready for services on Sunday. If you would like to volunteer to help serve and/or clean up afterwards, please let Kyle or Stephen know.
