The wedding is cocktail attire. Please wear a suit, blazer and slacks, dress, jumpsuit, etc. More than anything, we hope you dress in whatever makes you feel your best and ready to dance the night away!
Due to spending our weeks with many children, we have decided to keep this an adult only event. Your kids are welcome to join us at the beach on Sunday!
Yes, there is a small parking lot above the garden. There is also street parking. We will also have a shuttle going to and from the Hilton.
We will have a shuttle leaving the Hilton at 3:00 and 3:30 to head to the wedding. Each shuttle can accommodate 60 guests. Ubers and Lyfts are another great option if needed. If you can get on the first shuttle we would really appreciate it! We will have champagne waiting for you. Shuttles will leave the venue to go back to the Hilton at 10:00 and 10:30. The second shuttle will also do a stop at The Kraken if you want to continue the party.
It should be easy to get an Uber/Lyft to the venue. It can be more difficult to get an Uber/Lyft once at the venue because it is slightly more remote. If you want to use Uber/Lyft services, I recommend scheduling your Uber/Lyft ride home to ensure you get a ride home.
The buffet is all gluten free. Vegetarian meals will be delivered to tables for guests that requested them.
This is a casual hang out on Sunday to continue our time together. We like to spend our weekends at the beach when we can and would love for you all to get to see the San Diego beach yourself. Grab a coffee at Better Buzz and walk down with it, bring your lunch down to eat, stop by before enjoying a beach day, or just come to talk and enjoy the view. We will be trying to get a spot on the grass near the playground, so people's kids can play nearby. If you can't find us, give Stephen or Kiersten a call. You can easily walk down from the grass area to the beach to have a beach day or go for a walk along the beach as well. There are a few tables and benches. We will do our best to grab one or two, but we can not guarantee this. We are also going to bring all of the beach towels and chairs we have for out of town guests to sit on. There is a public bathroom. Parking can be tricky. There is a small paid parking lot across the street from Powerhouse Park. There is also street parking and parking in the neighborhoods. If you have kids with you or someone who may have a trickier time walking, there is a drop off zone right at Powerhouse Park so you can unload passengers and then go find parking. On sunny days, it can get very crowded. If parking causes you stress, we recommend ubering/lyfting over.
