Kapalua Bay Beach
Kapalua Bay is one of our favorite snorkel spots! Get there early or mid afternoon to claim your spot, its a smaller bay. Calm waters make it easy to swim around and look at all of the beautiful fish. You might even get to cruise around with some turtles!
Nakalele Blowhole
Moderately steep hike down a costal trail over rock. There is a blowhole at the bottom and also a cut out heart rock. Be prepared to get wet if you make it down to the bottom. The blowhole shoots up over 20ft and has a large splash down area.
The Gazebo
We love this tiny little cafe for breakfast! It over looks the bay with breathtaking views. The local food is delicious! Huge portions which make sharing easy. You must get the fried rice and macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup! Wait time is about an hour consistently throughout the day.
Leoda's Kitchen and Pie Shop
A perfect place to stop on the way from the airport. Also great for breakfast. Personal sized pies both sweet and savory. (The chicken pot pie is a favorite!)
Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman - Kaanapali, Maui
Super tasty restaurant with the most amazing Mai-Tai's topped with lilikoi foam. My mouth is watering just thinking about these.
Lahaina
Hidden gem of a budding beach town. Hip culinary scene that sources from local farms alongside a variety of costal surf shops and galleries to browse in.
Star Noodle
Fresh house made noodles!!! Another gem with locally sourced ingredients. A new American take Asian cuisine. You must get the mini malasadas to end your meal. Reservations suggested.

Our favorite spot to grab some fish tacos! Perfect for after a day at the beach.

Kapalua Golf - The Bay Course
Beautiful course along the Kapalua Bay coast! There are two courses, one closer to the mountains and one by the bay. Sometimes they offer late afternoon deals.
Road To Hana
Beautiful car ride along the coast to Hana with many places to stop and take in the gorgeous views. It's sprinkled with hidden hikes and waterfalls. It's about 6 hours roundtrip from Kaanapali. The road is full of curves so proceed with caution if you get car sick easily.
Haleakala Crater
Get up early to watch the sun rise over the Haleakala crater or for the late risers make a later trip to watch the sun set.
