From Australia/New Zealand

We've put together two travel options depending on whether you're travelling with children or without. Travelling with Kids or Babies To make the journey as easy as possible, we recommend avoiding the long drive from Puerto Princesa. **Option 1 (Recommended)** Australia/NZ → Manila → El Nido * Direct international flight to Manila. * Domestic flight to El Nido. * Easiest option with the least amount of travel after arriving in the Philippines. **Option 2** Australia/NZ → Cebu → El Nido * A great alternative if you find better flight prices. * Also avoids the long van transfer. If flights to El Nido don't suit your budget or dates, you can also travel: Australia/NZ → Manila (or Cebu) → Puerto Princesa → Van to El Nido Please note this includes a 5–6 hour van ride. ---------------------------------- Travelling Without Kids **Cheapest Option** Australia/NZ → Manila → Puerto Princesa → Van to El Nido Usually the most affordable route and a popular choice for travellers. **Best Balance of Cost & Convenience** Australia/NZ → Cebu → El Nido Often offers competitive fares while avoiding the long van ride. **Another Option** Australia/NZ → Singapore → Clark → Puerto Princesa (or El Nido if available) This route can sometimes offer great airfare deals if you don't mind a stopover. ---------------------------------- Booking Tips * Compare prices on Google Flights or Skyscanner. * Book your international flights first before booking domestic flights. * Allow plenty of time between international and domestic connections. * Check baggage allowances for domestic airlines. * Travel insurance is recommended. Although getting to El Nido takes an extra step, it's a well-travelled route with plenty of options. From Manila

If you're already in Manila before the wedding, there are two main ways to get to El Nido. Option 1 (Recommended) **Manila → El Nido** * The quickest and easiest option. * Fly directly to El Nido Airport. * Best for families with children, older travellers, or anyone wanting the most convenient journey. Option 2 (Most Affordable) **Manila → Puerto Princesa → Van to El Nido** * Fly from Manila to Puerto Princesa. * Take a shared or private van to El Nido (approximately 5–6 hours). * Usually the most budget-friendly option. Booking Tips * Book flights as early as possible for the best fares. * Check baggage allowances on domestic airlines. * Travel insurance is recommended.
