Some could argue that we met at the wrong time. Stephen came to Marysville, Washington to visit his parents for a few months. Because of this long stay, he wanted to get a part time job here. Little did he know that he was walking into his future wife's place of work, Planet Fitness. On the day that Stephen went to the gym to turn in his application, Jordan was working one of her last shifts and her boss was looking for someone to replace her. Stephen immediately accepted an interview and was offered the job. Once he found out that he was Jordan's replacement, he asked her "since you no longer work here, would you like to get a coffee so you can tell me more about what it's like to work here?". Jordan agreed because she thought he was being really smooth but also because she was moving to Bellingham in a few days and knew that a coffee date wouldn't hurt anybody. Since that first date in 2019, Jordan and Stephen have been separated by distance, COVID, and chaotic work schedules. Not to mention the fact that Stephen was supposed to move back home to Indiana. Throughout everything, we agreed that our love for one another was stronger than distance, a pandemic, and our busy schedules. Now that our lives have synced together through living together and adopting a dog, we are ready to make it official and marry one another.
