What is the dress code?

Answer

Summer cocktail attire! Not black tie formal as we'll be in a barn, but meant to be a bit dressy and fun. Here's a link for inspiration if you're like me (Stephen) and don't know how to describe these things https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire

What is the set-up of the bar?

Answer

Unfortunately the rules of Hubbard's Barn do not allow us to have a fully open bar. Instead, we are having a twoonie bar so make sure to bring some coins. There will also of course be wine provided at the tables during dinner service and a few groomsmen will likely have a supply of coins to give away if anyone is running short. The Barn also asks guests to kindly refrain from bringing their own alcohol and keep all drinks inside the premises of the barn structure.

Do you have any transport arranged?

Answer

Yes! We've arranged a local taxi service to drive guests home who are staying within 15 minutes of the venue. Apologies if this doesn't cover your accommodations, the company has limited number of vehicles.

Is there taxi service in the Hubbard's area?

Answer

Yes there is a local taxi service, however the local area is small and a ride may not be guaranteed. From a brief check, UBER also seems to work but I can't promise this will be a perfect option.

Is there parking at the barn?

Answer

Yes there is ample parking at the venue for anyone choosing to drive.

Can I leave my car overnight at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The Farmer's Market is on Saturday. You can leave your car there and come pick it up the next morning if you'd like!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests put their phones away during the ceremony itself. A photographer will be present to document the event with photos available down the road!

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Unfortunately we have a tiny apartment and a large dog. We also understand that many of our guests have to travel and that in of itself is a gift that we appreciate very much. While gifts are very much not needed, if you would like to contribute to our ~ Honeymoon Fund ~ there will be a card table at the wedding.
