Love has a beautiful way of finding its way back to what is meant to be. Our story began in 2002 when we were just teenagers. My sister Alexis and I used to go to McDonald’s every day after school. One day, I noticed Stephen working in the back. I immediately told her I liked him, but I was too shy to approach him. As time went on, we went back and she helped spark a convo between us that unknowingly started our story. What began as a simple spark quickly grew into something special. We talked on the phone every chance we got and spent as much time together as we could. Eventually life pulled us in different directions, and long distance became too difficult, so we went our separate ways. Years later, life brought us back together in the most unexpected way, we ended up living on the same street. The spark we once shared quickly reignited. During the years we spent apart, we both experienced life, learned important lessons, and grew into the people we were meant to become. Then God brought us back together again, and this time we were ready. After everything we had been through, we realized our love had come full circle. Now we hold onto it with full hearts and our beautiful bundle of joy, Alexis, lovingly named after my late sister.
