We first started to get to know each other well on the music department tour to Spain and France Spring 2023

Our time spent at Montserrat in Spain was amazing and a real deepening of our friendship

We had a truly incredible time and got up to some shenanigans...

After staying in touch throughout the summer, we became fast friends when the fall semester started

As the semester progressed our time spent together only increased and our attraction to each other quickly became obvious, especially to everyone else...

Eventually we started dating, much to everyone's relief... including Gianna's!

Spring semester brought more amazing adventures and we grew ever closer through all the joys and challenges of our busy college lives

One of our many common interests is swing dancing, something that we have enjoyed a lot of! Also, this was the first time we wore a coordinating outfit!

By Easter, things had gotten more serious... at the Easter Vigil I (Gianna) knew without a doubt that I was going to marry Stephen!

As the end of the semester grew near, we continued to have amazing times! (and got more comfortable with having our picture taken)

After Stephen's graduation, we both stayed in Bismarck over the summer. This provided us with lots of opportunities to be together! (we also graduated to selfie-status)

One of our many adventures was a weekend camping trip north of Bismarck. We became very very close as the summer progressed and started talking about engagement.

The many weddings we attended this summer provided us with plenty of time together, as well as got us thinking about the future ;)

School started for Gianna again, bringing its own challenges, but we have been so blessed and have still been able to spend so much time together!

Then it happened... we got engaged on September 7th!

Gianna's ring is both her Great-grandmother's and Grandmother's, making it even more special!

Being engaged has its perks... I got Stephen to wear a GLITTERY bowtie for the Dance of the Decades!

This school year before our wedding was both challenging and extremely blessed! We are so excited for what the future holds!
