We're getting married!

We met online using a dating app. Stephen was working on the road at the time and was living out of a hotel with his company. He traveled regularly throughout the midwest doing methane gas lining. He invited me over for homemade Chicken Alfredo. I arrived and he served me a plate and I started eating, it was the best. However Stephen wasn't eating very much. I proceeded to ask "Am I going to die?", thinking maybe I shouldn't have eaten something a stranger made for me....turns out Stephen has a horrible habit of eating while cooking, especially when its his favorite dish.

Stephen had moved into his first apartment here in Burnsville, MN, I had been staying there too, and needed a companion when Stephen was on the road. Stephen was more of a dog person but he said he'd give it a try, so in April of 2021 we adopted Bruce. Only a month later we adopted our second cat, Mushu. He is quite the cat, everyone who meets him thinks he's quite the character. Mushu was a more outgoing and playful cat than Bruce, but they made the perfect pair. In August of 2022, I had finally worn Stephen down enough to start looking for a puppy. Athena was the perfect fit for our little growing fur family. She and Mushu are the best of friends and enjoy wrestling together and chasing each other around the house. Sometimes we think Mushu is part dog.
