Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask all our guests to please RSVP by September 1st

Question

COVID Safety

Answer

We have reduced our guest count to well under 100 guests given the current uncertain environment. We are also REQUIRING all guests who are attending our wedding to please be vaccinated before attending the wedding out of respect for our guests with small children or immunocompromised members in their household.

Question

Do we need to wear a mask?

Answer

While it’s not a requirement for our wedding, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day (makes for a great Halloween costume anyway). Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors (weather permitting) and our reception will take place indoors.

Question

Are there Hotel Room Blocks?

Answer

Yes! we have room blocks at the Marriott Uptown and at the Stoneleigh (links below). However, we encourage our guests to utilize points to get better rates! https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1622496220681&key=GRP&app=resvlink https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1620329503558&key=GRP&app=resvlink

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Arboretum has ample parking available, should you choose to drive. For #safety, we recommend using Lyft or Uber, but would also recommend sharing Lyfts and Uber since it is Halloween weekend and demand will be high.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are currently working on some options for transportation to and back from the Marriott Uptown, check back soon!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Ceremony: Cocktail Attire. While it's Halloween weekend, we ask that our guests keep the ceremony costume-free so that in 50 years we don't wonder why there is a T-rex in the background of our wedding photos. Reception: Spooky Cocktail

Question

Elise (because we know this is her doing), what in the world is spooky cocktail?

Answer

We encourage our guests to bring costume elements to wear during the reception! Think: ears, masquerade masks, whatever your spooky heart desires. This is the time to let out your inner David S. Pumpkins. "Any Questions??"

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know on your RSVP about any dietary restrictions, we will be planning on a vegetarian option.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

Please refer to the Registry Tab for our registered items and locations; we will be posting our registry in late July/early August, as we are moving into our new home then and want to make sure no gifts get left behind or delivered to the new tenants in our current apartment.

For all the days along the way
