Question

What about the concern of spreading COVID-19

Answer

We want everyone to stay safe and healthy and plan on following the latest CDC guideline and state guidelines as they develop. Our ceremony will be held outside with enough seating to spread attendees apart. We will provide everyone with hand sanitizer, a mask, and a wristband to indicate what their comfort level is. We ask that you please wear a mask during our ceremony and encourage masks during the reception while not eating. The cocktail hour will be held outside and the reception is being held in a covered open-air pavilion. The pavilion holds 300 guests and we will only fill one-third of the space with our guest count so there will be room to spread out. The tables will be spaced apart and we will fill tables with family members in your party only unless otherwise previously discussed. If there is rain we will move the ceremony under the same covered pavilion. We encourage you to take a COVID test prior to attending.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, please tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #grutzgetsullingered so we can keep track of all of your pictures! Please refrain from taking pictures during our ceremony.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the pavilion area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages. We will have a caricature artist available for a fun keepsake.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be wheelchair accessible.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food

Answer

Yes, we are offering wine and beer and a plated menu. You will have your choice of a chicken, beef, vegetarian or vegan dish when you RSVP. There will also be a cash bar for non-beer and wine.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Please contact either the Matron of Honor, Heather Ullinger: 330-604-6325, or the Mother of the Bride, Patricia Grutzmacher: 330-347-1345

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception in an outdoor pavilion. We recommend that you bring a jacket or shawl in case it gets cold. The ground may be soft in some areas so may not be suitable for stillettos or really tall heels.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

If you are staying onsite at Gervasi you can walk to all events. If you are staying offsite we recommend either driving in; there is plenty of parking onsite, or take an uber or lyft. Please do not drink and drive.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Question
