Nobska Lighthouse

Nobska Lighthouse

233 Nobska Road, Falmouth, MA 02543
, (774) 763-6453

Nobska Light, originally called Nobsque Light, also known as Nobska Point Light is a lighthouse located near the division between Buzzards Bay, Nantucket Sound, and Vineyard Sound in the settlement of Woods Hole, Massachusetts on the southwestern tip of Cape Cod

Woods Hole

Woods Hole

Falmouth, MA

A visit to Falmouth isn't complete without a trip to Woods Hole. From Restaurants (try Quicks Hole for fish tacos or the Landslide for fish bites), Home to a world-renowned marine science research facility (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute) and the Marthas Vineyard Ferry.

The Chart Room

The Chart Room

3 Shipyard Lane, Bourne, MA 02534
, (508) 563-5350

Relax outside on the shells at Kingmans Marina. Try their mudslides, but only 1- you've been warned. Fun Fact- Deirdre and her cousin Jamie love to kayak to nearby Bassetts Island, and then kayak over to the Chart Room. Unfortunately they have yet to be able to kayak themselves back to their car and would lure Dad to the Chart Room with promises of mudslides on them in exchange for a ride back with the kayaks in back of the pickup truck

Downtown Falmouth

Downtown Falmouth

Main street, Falmouth, MA

Great spots for brunch/lunch (Anejo Mexican Bistro, or an espresso martini at La Cucina Sul Mare) Shopping (try Le Roux for all things kitchen including a tasting of local olive oils and balsamic vinegar, or twigs of Falmouth for local artist crafts and gifts), bookstores, ice cream, and of course all things touristy

The Knob

The Knob

36 Quissett Harbor Road, Falmouth, MA 02543

Arguably one of the most beautiful spots on Cape Cod, the Knob is a 1 mile trail loop. Parking is limited to about 20 spots, open 8am to sunset. For a trail map click here: http://saltpondsanctuaries.org/wp-content/uploads/trailmap_knob.pdf
