We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Coleman and Stephen met at a bar called East End. Ten years ago, Coleman and one of his college friends traveled to Chapel Hill to go out for the night. At this bar, Stephen and his friend Julian, were also having a few drinks. After returning from the bathroom, Stephen was introduced to Coleman by Julian and was told "You have to meet this man with the most incredible eyes." Four hours and a couple of location changes later, Coleman and Stephen were still engaged in conversation and decided to exchange phone numbers. Through Coleman's final semester at Duke, Stephen and Coleman briefly dated. As graduation came closer, they decided it would be best to remain friends as Coleman was moving home to Chantilly, VA. They stayed in touch and, two years later, Stephen's friend Elizabeth invited him to visit her in Arlington where she was a teacher. While visiting, Stephen and Coleman reconnected in person. Shortly after this, Stephen decided to move to Arlington to teach, and their relationship blossomed from there.
