Question

Do I need to be vaccinated or provide a negative covid test to attend?

Answer

We have decided that we will require EVERYONE attending our wedding in person (staff as well as guests of all ages) to EITHER be fully vaccinated OR to get a negative COVID test prior to attending. If you are not vaccinated, we ask you to obtain a negative test for COVID within the 48 hours prior to the wedding (PCR or rapid antigen). For unvaccinated guests travelling far from out of town, you can obtain a negative test for COVID within the 48 hours prior to arrival in Philadelphia for wedding festivities. Please be prepared to show verification of vaccination or negative test upon arriving at the venue. With the spread of the Delta variant and breakthrough cases (while rare) of people fully vaccinated, we additionally strongly encourage (but won’t require) even those who have been vaccinated to get tested for COVID prior to arrival. Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

Please bring a face covering with you to the wedding. The city of Philadelphia has reinstated a mask mandate. Per city guidelines, masks are required to be worn in indoor spaces. This means, for our wedding, you'll need a face covering for the trolley ride and when indoors at the Moshulu (i.e., the restrooms). Masks are not required when outdoors or while seated indoors eating and drinking. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask outdoors, we absolutely understand and support you. Extra masks and hand sanitizer will be provided.

What other covid-19 safety measures will be in place?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing will be outdoors and in open-ir. Dinner will be served seated indoors in a ballroom. Seating will be assigned for the reception to generally keep families/groups together.

Question

Is there transportation provided? Where can I park for the wedding?

Answer

A shuttle between the Sonesta Philadelphia Downtown Hotel and the Moshulu will be provided for wedding guests. Service to the venue will run between 3-4:30pm with the first trolley at 3pm reserved for bridal party and immediate family. The reception ends at 11:30pm and the trolley will begin providing continuous service from 10:30pm to until the last guest departs. Please check with the front desk of the Sonesta for the latest schedule on the day of. For guests driving directly to the venue, there is a public, paid parking lot directly in front of the Moshulu located here: Lombard Circle Parking Lot, 401 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106

There will be an after party at the hotel bar (Artbar) following the Moshulu event.

Aside from the wedding, we recommend guests have proof of vaccination ready to show during their time exploring Philadelphia. The list of businesses & restaurants is growing by the day requiring proof of vaccination to enter. A picture of your vaccine card + photo ID is sufficient.
