Hotel
All our events will take place at The Cape, so we strongly encourage you to stay on site if you are able. The hotel requires a 3-night minimum stay, so we’d recommend a Friday check-in and Monday check-out. We know this is a big commitment, but we're confident you'll love The Cape as much as we do! We’ve secured a room block with the hotel, which is detailed below. Please follow these instructions to book and receive our special pre-negotiated rate: Online: https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/CSLTH/G-6DIP Email: thecapereservations@thompsonhotels.com Phone: 011-52-624-163-0000 or toll free 844-778-4322 (Refer to “Nguyen / Andron Wedding”)
Flight
The only nearby airport is San Jose Del Cabo (SJD). Direct flights leave from SFO and LAX, with a couple flights from San Jose (Alaska). There isn't a direct flight from Oakland at this time, but that could be subject to change. The primary airlines that fly direct from California are United, Alaska, Delta (LAX only), JetBlue (LAX only), Spirit (LAX only), and Aeromexico (LAX only). Unfortunately, flight prices are impossible to predict, but we recommend booking sooner rather than later as next Spring will be a busy time in Cabo.
Hotel
If staying at The Cape isn’t for you, there are plenty of other hotel or housing options in the area: Mid-Range: • https://welkresorts.com/cabo-san-lucas/ • https://cabo.villadelpalmar.com/ Budget: • https://www.sunrockhotel.com/ Airbnb Please note that if you’re staying offsite, we will not have pre-planned transportation for the events, but Uber is a safe and reliable option for getting around Cabo.
Travel Note
It is about 35-40 minutes from the Cabo airport to the Cape Hotel. We have not pre-arranged transportation for guests from the airport to the hotel as flight times from different cities are quite varied, but if you’d like any assistance arranging transport, we would be more than happy to help. Uber can be taken to the airport but cannot pick passengers up at the airport, so you will need to either book a car in advance or take a taxi when you land. Expect transportation to be about 80-100 USD for a van of ~6 passengers. On the return flight home, we do recommend taking an Uber to the airport, as it is usually cheaper. Tip: Pack a pen so you can fill out the immigration/customs paperwork before getting off the plane. Once you've gone through immigration, there will be another customs line to the left of baggage claim. Head straight outside to get a taxi (there will be a stand to pay) or to meet your car.
