After swiping right on Bumble (ha), we set our first date for Aardwolf Brewery, where Stephen introduced Cassie to their delicious IPAs. We were so excited to meet each other that we both showed up early! We ended the night at Rain Dogs (r.i.p.), catching a random show in the backroom. The second date was immediately set for the next night at Mellow Mushroom in Avondale, where Cassie now hosts weekly bar trivia. And our third date was at Tiger Records, our favorite place in Jacksonville.

On a trip to New Orleans, and the night before our first King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard show, Stephen and friends took Cassie to Jackson Square. Stephen was so nervous and couldn't get the words out--Cassie had absolutely no idea what was coming. Stephen proposed with her late Poppop's ring, and combined with the magical energy of New Orleans, it was definitely a memory neither of us will ever forget. (Despite celebratory Hurricanes from Pat O'Brien's!)
