San Diego Zoo
We love the zoo! It's a beautiful place to spend the day. We recommend starting your adventure by hopping on the Guided Bus Tour and then meandering up the beautiful pathways towards the gorillas. After you've seen everything you went to see, we recommend ending the day with the Skyfari Aerial Tram which will take you down the hill to the exit.
Raglan Public House
Venture to OB for lunch or dinner at our favorite spot. Sit on the patio and enjoy the extensive draft list and burgers. Try the black bean patty or the impossible patty in your burger.
Balboa Park
There are endless things to do here. Check out the many museums, food, or events. Or just have a picnic in the grass or stroll through the beautiful grounds.
Little Italy Mercato Farmers' Market
Our favorite farmers market. Held every Saturday.
Dog Beach
Traveling with your dog? Dog Beach in OB is a great place to take them to play.
Temecula
Don’t feel like venturing south to San Diego? Check out some boutique wineries in Temecula. Downtown is adorable, too.
Cowles Mountain Trail
Short hike, but a good workout with beautiful views of the city.
Torrey Pines State Reserve
Beautiful beach, hiking trails, and ocean views.
Hotel Del Coronado
Super fun place to hang out for a few hours. This is a beautiful 130 year old hotel with a ton of history ("Some Like it Hot" was filmed here!). The beach that it sits on, in our opinion, is gorgeous and unparalleled anywhere in San Diego.
