We’re getting married!

Brenna and Steve’s journey began when they met through their mutual friends, Haylee and Jimmy. Haylee was the bride’s best friend, while Jimmy was the groom’s. Jimmy often joked about trying to set them up, but neither seemed particularly interested at the time. A few years later, during the summer of 2020, the bride was hanging at the groom’s house. She overheard the groom talking about boating. After a few margaritas, she texted him and invited herself on the boat. From that moment on, they spent most of the summer on the water. Since most activities were still shut down due to Covid, they had to find alternative ways to entertain themselves—even camping in the groom’s parent’s backyard. They spent the entire summer pretending to be just friends, even after taking a 7.5-hour road trip to meet up with his sister in Michigan. Finally, they made their relationship official on September 19, 2020. They both became first-time homeowners in May of 2024. They share their two fur babies, Leo and Ash. Brenna & Leo were a package deal. Ash joined their family in April of 2023. The couple loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s boating, biking, camping, or occasionally playing pickleball. Recently, the bride convinced the groom to train for a half marathon with her, and they completed it together on April 25, 2026. When choosing their venue, they knew this place was meant to be. The last Saturday in September available was their anniversary. They can’t wait to share their special day with you all on September 19, 2026, and create more cherished memories together.
