It all began on January 26, 2021, over chips and queso at Chuy’s in College Station. One cheesy date turned into countless memories — from cheering on the Aggies and adopting our pup Pesto, to surviving a year of long distance with love, care packages, and airport reunions. After finally landing in Charlotte together, we explored new places, chased unmatched fall foliage in the Carolina mountains, and built a life full of laughter, adventure, and a little chaos (thanks, Pesto). Then in September 2024, on a quiet beach in the Lofoten Islands, after a day of kayaking and hiking, Stephen proposed to Mikaela. We can’t wait to start the next chapter of our journey together and celebrate with the people who mean the most to us!
