There are two airports in Maine that we recommend flying into. Portland International Jetport and Bangor International Airport.
PIJ is about 2-2.5 hours from the wedding venue but is located in a fun little Maine city. If you have time and you are looking to explore Maine, we recommend this airport to see Portland and drive up the coast to Bar Harbor.
BIA is about 1.25 hours from the wedding venue.
Bar Harbor is a quintessential coastal town on the outskirts of Acadia National Park, and we recommend exploring this beautiful area.
The wedding venue (Atlantic Oceanside Hotel) is in Bar Harbor, but there are a variety of other accommodations.
*For the more adventurous there are plenty of campgrounds in Bar Harbor and Acadia NP.
August is the busy season for Bar Harbor, we suggest securing reservations early
