We met during high school at Wylie East. We barely talked and were not close but were acquaintances... we knew of each other. Stephen funnily enough even had a crush on Callie during sophomore year. We graduated and didn't talk for several years. Fast forward to 2021 and we matched on bumble, actually started talking and went on our first date. Stephen knew Callie was the one when she talked about how she would have to wear heels at their wedding (ON THE FIRST DATE!!) and after that... it was history.

We were going up to visit a friend in Missouri and had planned (as far as Callie knew) to take some cute family photos. The day of we got all dressed up and went to a state park to take pictures in the woods and we got some really cute shots. When Callie turned around to look at some cool looking mushrooms, Stephen got down on one knee and proposed when she turned around. Obviously, she said yes. :)
