How We Met
7-30-2012
We met on the first day of our new jobs at Cerner in Kansas City. We were sat next to each other (thanks to alphabetical order) and Ali made the first introduction. "Hi, I'm Ali!" and the rest is history. They used to have a saying at Cerner: 20,000 employees and 10,000 last names. I guess there was some truth to that.
The Engagement
3-11-2020
While on a trip to Europe we spent the day at a spa in the Austrian Alps. Stephen decided this would be the day and location to pop the big question! After sneaking the ring around in swimming trunk and robe pockets all day, Stephen pulled it out just before swimming outside to see the stars from the thermal pools. Ali cried a bunch and then eventually said YES!
