On a late Sunday evening, after Jack finished his rounds as the Resident Assistant (RA) working the night shift, he looked up from the front desk and noticed a young woman walking up to him. It was Stephany, a new resident. “Hey, I’m checking in. I need the keys to my room. Are you the RA?” Stephany asked, her voice tinged with exhaustion. Jack nodded, his expression showing mild annoyance. “Yeah, you’re a little late for check-in.” “Excuse me?” Stephany asked, her annoyance evident. "Here you go," Jack finally announced, sliding a key across the desk towards her. "Room 314." Stephany's eyes lit up with relief as she took the key. "Thank you, Jack," she said, her voice filled with gratitude. Jack offered her a small smile, a warmth creeping into his demeanor. "No problem. Just try to get some rest, alright?" he advised, his concern genuine.
