In true millennial fashion, Stephanie and Taylor met on the internet way before the likes of Tinder and Hinge. They met in MMORPG (multiplayer online role-playing game) called Habbo Hotel. After finding themselves in the same virtual rooms, they hit it off on Skype. Unfortunately for them, they lived 218 miles away from each other, Stephanie in rural Georgia and Taylor in the suburbs of Metro Atlanta. Try explaining to your Baby Boomer parents you have an online relationship...awkward. But, they made it work! One year, thousands of chats, hundreds of hours on the phone, and many emails later they met IRL for Stephanie's high school graduation. Their love was young and wonderful. But unfortunately, the distance took a toll while Stephanie was in college and they broke up. Stephanie and Taylor went on to live their lives separately. Until finally, in 2019 Stephanie got a job in Atlanta! And while the pandemic started shortly after, Taylor broke the silence in 2020. Their friendship started again!
