4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
The recommended attire is casual/beach chic/smart aloha.
For those of you in town, we will be available to say Aloha and share a drink or appetizer with you from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Alaloa Lounge, which is in the lobby area of the Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. This is a no-host cocktail, appetizer, or refreshment hour open to all who have arrived, including kids, to share in the festivities with us! Parking: Valet parking at the Ritz is complimentary if you are not staying overnight at the hotel. https://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/hotels/jhmrz-the-ritz-carlton-maui-kapalua/overview/
12:00 pm
No activities are planned, the bride and groom will be preparing for their big day. Please enjoy the beautiful island of Maui!
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
The attire for the ceremony is formal. The recommended attire is suits for the gentlemen and long flowy dresses for the ladies. No tuxes or formal gowns are necessary. We recommend wearing sunblock and you may also want to bring a hat and/or a shawl for protection from the sun.
The ceremony will take place at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, on The Beach House Lawn at 3:30 p.m. sharp. Please arrive on time. Parking: We recommend parking in the DT Fleming beach lot for the ceremony as it is right next to the ceremony location. This is a free parking lot. The road to this parking lot is north of the road you turn down to go to the Ritz Hotel property. The parking lot can be accessed off of Lower Honoapiilani Rd. To reach this location, from Highway 30 (Honoapiilani Hwy), turn onto Lower Honoapiilani Rd and follow the signs to the parking lot. If you need help finding this parking lot please contact the Ritz hotel for help with directions. For guests staying at the Ritz you can walk to the location. Please ask a hotel attendant how to get to The Beach House Lawn or follow the signage. It is about a 10 minute downhill walk to get there so if you would rather park closer to the ceremony site you can drive and park in the DT Fleming Beach lot.
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Between 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., we will be taking a short intermission while the bride and groom take pictures, change attire, and refresh. Please use this time to cool off from the Maui sunshine, freshen up, and change into your “second look” party clothing, if you so desire.
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
The attire for the dinner reception is semi-formal. The recommended attire is cocktail attire for both the gentlemen and ladies. Please feel free to change into your elegant party attire such as sports coats (no ties necessary) for the gentlemen and midi-length cocktail dresses for the ladies should you choose to do so.
From 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. appetizers will be available on the patio of The Banyan Tree restaurant near the firepits. Just let them know you are with the wedding party, and they will show you where to go. At 7:00 p.m. the dinner reception will commence in the Tree Room at The Banyan Tree restaurant. Parking: The Banyan Tree restaurant is in the middle of the Ritz property. The hotel recommends using the complementary valet parking and walking to the restaurant from the lobby for a more lit-up pathway rather than staying parked at the DT Fleming Beach parking lot. As we are taking an intermission to change and take pictures you should have time to drive from the ceremony back to your hotel to refresh, change clothes if you choose, and then return to the valet parking at the Ritz for the dinner. Please allow yourself 10 minutes to park and walk down the restaurant.
5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
