Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you. Please drink responsibly and tip your bar tender!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

No.

Question

How do I RSVP and when is the deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 10, 2025. Any RSVP after that date will not be accepted. Please let us know your plans as soon as possible so we can best prepare. You do not need to email us after RSVP'ing. We are managing all RSVPs online. Please submit your response by visiting our RSVP tab above.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

I am a firm believer of "come as you are." I want you to feel comfortable but also within dress code which is semi-formal.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony is a five minute walk from the reception! The ceremony will take place outdoor (weather permitting). There is no parking at the ceremony site so we are asking that you park valet ($5 cash fee) at The Chesapeake Inn and walk over.

Question

Is the event indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will take place outdoor (weather permitting) and the reception will be inside.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please be mindful of parking/Friday traffic. We are asking that you arrive no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony. This will allow you to park and take your seat. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony, you will not be seated and you will have to wait until the start of cocktail hour.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

There is no parking at the ceremony site. We ask that you park at the reception (The Chesapeake Inn) and walk over. There is a $5 valet fee so have cash ready.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

Due to limited numbers we will only accommodate those formally invited.

Question

Can I record during the ceremony?

Answer

We are "UNPLUGGED" ceremony. We've hired professionals to capture photos/videos and we'd hate to have someone's device to block that. No personal devices are permitted during the ceremony. After vows have been said, you are more than welcome to pull out your phones and capture the moment!

Question

What if I can no longer attend?

Answer

We understand that life happens, and your presence will be truly missed! We ask that you contact either of us as soon as possible to notify us of the change.

Question

Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

Our wedding party will be wearing black, but you are still able to wear black! Please refrain from wearing olive green, white, ivory, cream or a similar shade.
