We just want you there! We will be having our ceremony in a church, so dress appropriately. The church is a modern and relaxed church, so it's not necessary to bust out your Sunday best or cover your shoulders, but don't dress like you're clubbing. After the ceremony, we will have a celebratory beach party. This is casual, optional and come and go. Wear your beachy attire! Bring your own beach towels, chairs, umbrellas etc. The cocktail hour and reception is at a relaxed restaurant right on the beach. Be comfortable. Sun dresses, linen pants, flats or wedges...anything you can dance in. Again - we just want you there!
Have you met us? The beach party is completely optional, casual and come and go as you please. You're more than welcome to explore Malibu instead. We will have a few easy ups set up, some lunch and a few games. Please bring your own beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. We just want to spend time with you and have fun. Please keep in mind that there is no alcohol allowed on the beach. However, if you are truly in need of a drink, the Sunset Restaurant (where our reception will be held) is just a few feet away and you can pop in there!
***The church has a spillover parking lot just to the bottom of the hill from the church and it is clearly marked with a sign that says "Our Lady of Malibu" ***Parking at the beach party will be very difficult. We encourage you to leave your car at the church and take the shuttle down to the beach. The shuttle will run trips from the church to the beach with a stop at the Malibu Country Inn. It will run approximately every 30 minutes between the ceremony and reception. ***There will be valet at the Sunset Restaurant reception - but we encourage you Uber/Lyft if you plan on drinking.
Parking at the beach party will be very difficult. We encourage you to leave your car at the church and take the shuttle down to the beach. The shuttle is a 14 person sprinter van that will run trips from the church to the beach with a stop at the Malibu Country Inn. It will run approximately every 30 minutes between the ceremony and reception.
We encourage all of our guests who will be drinking to stay nearby or use Uber/Lyft. We have a room block at the Malibu Country Inn and another at the top of Pepperdine's campus at the Villa Graziadio Executive Center. Check the "Travel" tab for more info.
