One match and a million texts later, Zach drove from the north shore of Long Island to the burbs of New Jersey to pick Steph up for a hike. On the hike, Steph proceeded to be stung by a bee, a good omen some would say. Been sting aside, they drove around for hours after exploring little nearby towns. This would be the start of many more adventures to come.

Zach seamlessly planned the proposal. After weeks of coordination with her family and the photographer, he popped the question one (very) early morning at Alfama in Lisbon, Portugal, with a surprise photoshoot. As she took in the sunrise, she turned to find Zach bent on one knee. She immediately said yes!
