It was a morning like any other, Vincent went to my bedside and woke me up like an excited kid getting a new toy, he gave me a beautiful red rose. First thing he said was “hey baby, get dressed! I have something to show you in the car”. I dragged myself out of bed and complained about getting dressed. As we walked to the car he began to record me and it made me a little nervous. Once we both sat in the car, he gave me a card and a necklace that made me almost cry. As the day progressed, he said, “we’re going to dinner like any other time but wear something nice. With two young kids, going out to dinner with the two of us would be ecstatic. We went to Celebration, to a really beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view and the table we went to was filled with rose petals. When we sat down, suddenly a man playing the saxophone came up to our table and played slow music. I was completely in awe and nervous for what was going on, it seemed like the saxophone player was really focused on us. The setting was memorizing and we were near a lake and I was just taking it all in. Shortly during dinner he took a black bag out with some jewelry logo, I was glaring at it with my eyes wide open. And once I opened it, it was another exquisite necklace. I expected something else because of how special things were turning so I got kind of bummed, I was expecting something else. Then after dinner in the middle of us having a conversation, the saxophone player got smoother, he stood up and Vincent was smiling very big. I was perplexed and was trying to understand the situation. From behind me the restaurant manager passed Vincent a black box and held up Vincent's phone. And my heart dropped! Vincent looked me straight into my eyes and gave me a heartfelt message and got on one knee. I bawled my eyes out and even the manger recording was shaking. When I scream out “yes!” The audience from a far was applauding us. This day is forever going to grasp my heart.
